“We did it, guys. My father’s in jail. After a f***ing year,” Ana Albarran said after her father, Davie Albarran, was arrested after being on the run for 451 days.

Davie Albarran’s daughters, Ana and Yaneiry, had led an online campaign on TikTok to trace his whereabouts.

He was finally apprehended in Polk County, Florida, US on charges of sexual battery on a child under 12 and lewd conduct towards a child under 12.

Following the online campaign, the case appeared on ‘America’s Most Wanted’.

The daughters, Ana and Yaneiry, carried out a TikTok campaign for the arrest of their father and gathered hundreds of thousands of views, capturing the interest of people all over the US.

The daughters said that they were contacted by additional victims, apart from the two known victims, for which their father, Albarran, was charged.

Albarran had been absconding since 2022 when he was confronted by his daughters, who accused him of assaulting a young female family member.

Ana started to publicly accuse her father on Facebook of his crimes and urged people with any information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Ana and Yaneiry, in their quest, erected billboards, looked into motels, solicited family members, and got a spot for Albarran, on the ‘America’s Most Wanted’ show.

The initiative of Ana and Yaneiry received support from the local media too.

Ana has revealed in an interview that her father had allegedly behaved inappropriately when she was young and added that many other victims gave similar accounts.

After learning about Albarran’s arrest, Ana and Yaneiry celebrated with their family members offline, and on, TikTok.

“I started screaming. I was crying. I was in disbelief,” Ana told WFTV9.

Ana and Yaneiry described the arrest as the “greatest feeling in the world” and stated, “We are his karma”.

“He made a mistake. (America’s Most Wanted) ran him all over the nation, and he came to Lakeland,” said Sheriff Grady Judd of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Albarran tried to evade arrest by using a false name but was caught by law enforcement, leading to the arrest. The details regarding the charges and trial are yet to come, according to the police.

“Now it’s time to catch this trash. This monster. Arrest him and stick him in jail for 100 years… Taking away children’s innocence… He’s a sick guy,” said Sheriff Marcos Lopez in December 2022.
