Residences of rapper and Grammy Award winner Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by US Department of Homeland Security agents in connection with a sex trafficking probe, a report in CNN said. The raids come after five individuals accused the 54-year-old rapper of rape and sexual harassment.

At the same time, Combs’ private plane travelled from California to Antigua, as per data from flight trackers. However, it is unknown if the rapper, who founded the music label Bad Boy, was actually on the plane or not.

Last year, a lawsuit was filed against the rapper by his former girlfriend accusing him of raping her and subjecting her to years of physical and other abuse.

In her suit, the woman alleged that Combs forced her to engage in sex acts with male prostitutes while he watched and filmed the encounters. Combs later settled the suit.

Soon, two other lawsuits were filed in New York against Combs by women alleging sexual assault. Another lawsuit was filed in December that accused Combs of sex trafficking. A former male employee has also accused Combs of sexual assault and harassment in another civil lawsuit.

However, Combs has denied the allegations and said that his accusers were seeking “a quick payday”, Reuters reported.

The rapper has played an instrumental role in the growth of the hip-hop genre. Combs has won three Grammys, along with 14 nominations. He is also a notable producer as well as an entrepreneur, and manages the Sean John clothing line.
