A Michigan judge was left shocked when a man busted for driving with a suspended licence appeared before him in a courtroom Zoom call while driving a car.
The incident happened in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
In a viral video, Judge Cedric Simpson can be seen dumbfounded after defendant Corey Harris dialed into the court hearing while driving his car.
“Mr Harris, are you driving?” Simpson asked.
“Actually, I’m pulling into my doctor’s office, actually. Just give me one second,” Harris said in response, still navigating his car.
“So maybe I don’t understand something. This is a driving with a suspended licence [case],” Simpson says to Harris’s lawyer.
“And he was just driving. And he didn’t have a licence.”
Shocked and surprised, Judge Simpson then revoked Harris’s bond and ordered him to turn himself into the local jail.
