Israel claims attack by Yemen’s Houthis, says missiles intercepted

Sirens blared across southern Israel on Tuesday evening following the launch of a projectile fire from Yemen, as per the Israel Defence Forces’ “X” handle.

According to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the missile was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force before it could enter Israeli airspace, as reported by Israel Hayom.

This development comes after the Israeli airstrike on Gaza on Tuesday which led to the death of more than 400 people. The attacks struck multiple locations, including Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah, marking the most intense Israeli bombardment attacks so far, since the truce took effect.
