Shami took only 5126 balls to reach the milestone, surpassing Mitchell Starc’s record of 5240 balls. In terms of matches, Shami is the joint-second fastest in the world, and also the fastest Indian bowler to claim 200 ODI wickets. He achieved the feat in his 104th ODI match. Talking about the game, Towhid Hridoy is close to his century as Bangladesh aim to post a competitive total against India in their campaign opener in Dubai.
