Sweatshirt and shorts: Democratic Senator John Fetterman outfit for Donald Trump inauguration in viral video

Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania attended Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony at the US Capitol Rotunda dressed in his signature casual style – a black hoodie, grey shorts and sneakers – despite the freezing weather that moved the event indoors.

In contrast, other dignitaries at Trump’s inauguration were dressed in formal attire, as reported by the New York Post.

As the Capitol Rotunda was filled with guests, Fetterman was seen in the front row, sitting comfortably with his legs stretched out.

The 55-year-old senator did not appear to mind the biting cold as he entered the Capitol building unperturbed.

Fetterman recently met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and has indicated openness to supporting some of the incoming administration’s staffing selections.

Although known for his casual fashion, Fetterman has worn formal suits in the past, such as when presiding over Senate votes in adherence to chamber rules.

He has also been seen in his trademark tuxedo hoodie at notable events, including last year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, according to the New York Post.
