New Delhi:
Vivek Oberoi and his all-time classic Saathiya keep making headlines. Bushra Shaikh, a dancer by profession, shared a video of a concert in which Vivek Oberoi can be seen vibing to the Saathiya song O Humdum. AR Rahman and his troupe can be seen performing on stage. The talking point of the video is Bushra Shaikh’s real Aditya and reel Aditya are in one frame. Bushra Shaikh is a die-hard Vivek Oberoi fan and she always wishes to have a life partner like Vivek’s Aditya (the character he played in Saathiya).
When the camera shifts its lens from Vivek Oberoi, Bushra Shaikh’s (then) boyfriend, now husband, can be spotted in the video. Bushra Shaikh wrote a detailed note about the context of the video. The video amalgamates Vivek Oberoi’s viral moment with her wedding moments. Take a look:
A few days ago, Vivek Oberoi recalled the shooting experience of Saathiya in an interview with Screen.
Recalling the vivid details of shooting, when he took naps on benches, Vivek shared, “Saathiya was a small budget film and only Rani used to get the makeup van. I had to go and change in restaurant bathrooms and hotel washrooms.”
“I did the touch-ups on the streets. Nobody knew who I was. I used to carry the tripod on my shoulder and walk with the rest of the crew. I have shot for 22-23 hours non-stop for Saathiya. I used to put newspapers on the bench and take a nap so that I looked fresh,” said the actor.
Vivek Oberoi has been married to Priyanka since 2010. She is the daughter of former Karnataka minister late Jeevaraj Alva and reputed dancer Nandini. The couple are parents to a daughter and a son – Vivaan Veer and Ameya Nirvana.
Vivek Oberoi made his web debut with Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force this year.
