With the massive civil war in Syria leading to the collapse of the Bashar Al Assad regime, fans of the famous blind mystic Baba Vanga are calling attention to her chilling prediction about the fall of the country. Notably, she also claimed that it could lead to World War III.

Vanga, often referred to as the “Nostradamus of the Baltics”, was known for her alleged ability to predict future events. She passed away in 1996.

Her predictions have eerily mirrored modern-day events, including the 9/11 attacks in US, the global Covid pandemic and Princess Diana’s death.

Syria witnessed an uprising last week after armed rebels took over the capital Damascus, prompting Assad to flee to Russia. The rebellion led to the collapse of the 14-year-old iron rule of Assad.

The dramatic events in Syria prompted some to revisit Baba Vanga’s prophecy, which allegedly predicted that Syria’s downfall would ignite a major conflict.

“When Syria falls, a great war between the West and the East will follow. In the spring, a conflict will ignite in the East, leading to a Third World War — a war that will destroy the West,” she predicted, according to a report in The Mirror.

Baba Vanga’s predictions have lately become a source of great attention on social media, with many people associating them with modern global events.

The blind Bulgarian mystic have made several predictions for the year 2025 that continue to intrigue her followers.

Among her forecasts is the potential for widespread internal strife in Europe, leading to a significant population decline and regional destruction.

Additionally, she predicted groundbreaking advancements in science and medicine, including the development of lab-grown organs and potential cures for diseases like cancer, which could revolutionize healthcare. Vanga also suggested that by 2025, humans might develop telepathic abilities, transforming communication across distances.

Syria conflict

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a group formerly allied with al-Qaeda and designated a terrorist organization by the United States, took over Damascus after a rebellion led by its leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani.

Assad’s regime was deplored by many for its brutality and corruption. Insurgents and civilians celebrated his downfall by waltzing freely into his private residence and ransacking it.

The insurgent takeover has pushed the country into the unknown. There is potential for more chaos with jihadi militants hoping to seize power and the possibility of conflicts between the many armed factions.
