Visuals showing a “fountain” of sewage as high as an apartment shooting into the sky allegedly in Russia’s Moscow were shared on social media platform Telegram by a Russian channel.
Although not much details are known about the “fountain” sewage, several Telegram users claimed that the sewage system of Moscow had broken down, according to a report in Mirror.
However, Russia’s state-owned conglomerate Gazprom was quoted as saying that a new section of the gas pipeline was being cleaned out of the air in this way and the situation was under control.
Meanwhile, Anton Gerashchenko, who is a former advisor to Ukraine’s Internal Affairs Minister shared the video on X and claimed that Moscow’s sewage system had broken down.
“Telegram channels report that the sewage system in Moscow broke down. A “fountain” the height of a residential building is seen in one of Moscow’s districts. A sh*t show, literally,” he said in the post.
