Iran vows defence against foreign aggression after Israeli strikes kill 2 soldiers

Iran’s Foreign Ministry assured its citizens on Saturday following the deaths of two Iranian soldiers in Israeli airstrikes. In a statement, the ministry declared Iran is both “entitled and obligated” to defend against foreign attacks and “fully capable of protecting the Iranian people.”

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry condemned Israel’s airstrikes on several sites in Iran, calling them a violation of Iranian sovereignty and a threat to both regional and global peace and security.
