Watch: Iran rains rockets on Israel in revenge for killing of Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles and rockets at Israel in retaliation to the latter’s military operation in Lebanon and assassination of top leadership of its proxy groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran said, “In response to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Nilforooshan, we targeted the heart of the occupied territories.”

According to Israeli media, over 400 projectiles were fired from the Iranian side. All the residents have been sent to bunkers, the Israel Defence Forces said.
