An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Port McNeill in Canada’s British Columbia on Sunday (local time), according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The US National Tsunami Centre said there is no warning of a tsunami threat after the quake.
The quake’s epicentre in the Pacific Ocean was at a depth of 10 km below the seabed, according to the USGS.
