US Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the US presidential election, in her first high-stakes interview on Thursday (US time) after beginning the campaign, dismissed rival candidate Donald Trump’s comments about her racial identity. Replying to CNN’s Dana Bash’s question about Trump’s remarks that Harris has “turned Black” for political purposes, she said, “Same old tired playbook”.
“Next question, please,” Harris asked the journalist without elaborating further on Trump’s comments.
