A power cut took place during a live Ukrainian news broadcast. Blackouts have been reported across Ukraine as Russia targets energy infrastructure.
DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy company, said on Monday that emergency power outages were in place across Ukraine. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated there were power shutdowns in “several districts” of the capital, and later added there were problems with the water supply on the right bank of the city.
Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using missiles and drones within a span of two hours.
