Despite objections from some organisations in the US, a carnival float featuring Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir was included in the India Day Parade in New York City on Sunday.
The float showcased the temple of Lord Ram, which was consecrated earlier this year in Ayodhya.
Visuals depicted the float adorned with garlands, while members of the Indian diaspora, dressed in traditional attire and waving the Indian tricolor, danced in celebration through the streets of New York City.
Many Bollywood actors, including Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal participated in the India Day Parade in New York.
