Eric Trump, son of former US President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, has slammed British royal Duke Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, calling them “spoiled apples”, and suggesting that his father could deport them if he won the presidential election. Like his father, Donald Trump, Eric also disapproves of Harry and Meghan.
“There are always bad actors and spoiled apples in every group,” Eric Trump said in an interview with British cable news channel GB News.
Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle fled to America in 2020, reported the New York Post.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5 between Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. On Monday, Vice-President Kamala Harris formally secured the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, becoming the first woman of colour to lead a majority party ticket in the November elections.
Eric Trump praised his father’s admiration for the British royal family, especially the late Queen Elizabeth II, but he was critical of Harry and Meghan, implying they are not welcome in the United States.
“You can happily have those two back,” said Eric. “We’ll happily send them back from America. You can have them back over here, but I’m not sure if you want them anymore. We might not want them anymore; it feels like they’re on an island of their own.”
TRUMP’S ILLEGAL DRUGS ALLEGATION ON PRINCE HARRY
In March, GB News presenter Nigel Farage asked Donald Trump about Harry admitting to using illegal drugs like cocaine and cannabis in his book “Spare.”
Trump said Harry should not receive “special privileges” if he lied on his US visa application.
“We need to find out if they know about the drugs, and if he lied, they’ll need to take action,” Trump said.
When asked if “appropriate action” might mean deportation, he responded, “Oh, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me. You would have thought they would have known this a long time ago.”
TRUMP FAMILY CRITICISE BRITISH ROYAL
The Trump family has a history of criticising Harry and Meghan, with Donald Trump once saying that Harry “betrayed the queen” and that he would not protect him.
At a Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland in February, Trump said, “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the queen. That’s unforgivable,” reported the New York Post.
Despite his criticism of Harry and Meghan, Donald Trump maintains a positive relationship with King Charles III.
The British monarch recently sent a private letter to Donald Trump following an assassination attempt against him in Pennsylvania, which was delivered by the UK embassy in Washington, DC.
