A video showing a man chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ amid pro-Palestinian protests in US university has surfaced on social media.
“Palestine protesters started chanting against India, so this is what I did. Jai Shree Ram,” Shayan, a social media influencer, shared the video on X with this caption.
Pro-Palestine protests swept college campuses across the US, stoked by the mass arrest of over 100 people on Columbia University’s campus last week.
Protesters, in addition to a ceasefire, are demanding that schools divest from companies involved with Israel’s military, seeking an end to US military assistance to Israel along with amnesty for students and faculty members who have been disciplined or fired for protesting.
