A ship with a Liberian flag, with 15 Indian crew members on board, was recently hijacked near the coast of Somalia. In response, the Indian Navy has taken swift action by deploying the warship INS Chennai to monitor the situation and ensure the safety of the crew.
The Navy is actively keeping a close eye on the hijacked vessel, named ‘MV LILA NORFOLK,’ after receiving information about the incident last evening.
