A Japan Airlines flight, JAL 516, caught fire as it landed in Tokyo’s Haneda airport on Tuesday.
All 379 passengers and crew were evacuated from the blazing Japan Airlines plane, reported Reuters news agency.
A footage on Japanese broadcaster, NHK, showed flames coming out of the windows of the aircraft. Japanese news broadcasters citing authorities said that the plane might have collided with another aircraft after landing at the Haneda airport.
The Coast Guard reportedly said it was investigating the possibility that one of its aircraft collided with the passenger jet.
According to Japanese media, the flight took off from Hokkaido.
Later, video showed fire crews working to put out the fire. It wasn’t immediately clear what had happened or if there were injuries, reported news agency Associated Press.
