Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s 10-year-old son Samuel Garner Affleck caused a minor crash on Sunday. During an outing with Ben and his girlfriend, singer-actor Jennifer Lopez, Samuel accidently crashed a car. As per reports, Ben let Samuel in the driving seat of an expensive Lamborghini and the child accidentally crashed it. The three were visiting a luxury car dealership in Los Angeles.
In pictures and videos released from the incident online, Samuel can be seen emerging from the car after it apparently made contact with a BMW standing behind it. In the pictures, Ben can be seen walking towards the car after the accident. In other pictures, Jennifer Lopez and Samuel can be seen laughing the incident off, while Ben is talking to an employee. As per reports, the Lamborghini in question costs over $400,000 (more than ₹3 crore).
According to a TMZ report, “Ben and Jennifer Lopez went with Samuel Garner Affleck Sunday to 777 Exotics, an LA luxury car rental dealership. They were all looking at various cars, when Ben let Samuel hop into the driver’s seat of a yellow Lambo. Seems Samuel or someone else had the engine running… the boy put the Lambo in reverse and it seems that’s when it made contact with the white BMW.”
TMZ quoted a representative of Ben saying that there was no damage and the situation was resolved on the spot. The report quoted an employee of the dealership claiming there was no accident. However, the pictures show otherwise.
Samuel is the youngest child of Ben and Jennifer Garner. He has two older sisters – Violet Anne (16) and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (13). Ben and Jennifer were married from 2005-18. Ben recently rekindled his romance with actor-singer Jennifer Lopez. The two first dated from 2002-04 and were even engaged, but ended their relationship. They began dating again in April 2021, and became engaged again two months ago.
