Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday (local time) warned of a “massive” and “harsh” response even if Israel attempted to make a “tiniest invasion” on his country, days after Tehran attacked the Jewish state with hundreds of missiles and drones.

The response came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country would take a call on how to respond to Iran’s attack earlier this week amid fears of an escalation of conflict in the region.

Iran attacked Israel in the late hours of April 13 with over 300 missiles and drones in response to an April 1 Israeli strike on Iran’s embassy in Syria that killed 12 people, including two Iranian generals.
